About Lee

Raised in a small town under wide skies, Lee grew up safe, supported and feral. With little supervision and few friends, he made believe in a world of alleys, backyards and ditches. All his early influences were women.

Lee became an author in 2004 by turning bedtime stories he’d made up for his children into rhythm and rhyme, layering-in perspective on Self. Collaborating with master illustrator Angel Dominguez, one book turned into two, then three and four. Lee’s books will be released throughout 2021 and 2022, beginning with The Girl Who Wrote Her Own Fairytale. Each book combines story, art and rhyme to entertain, empower, beg the questions that get past standard answers, and lead our own way to the self we deserve and the Purpose for which we yearn.
